Axenco is a human-sized French industrial group specialized in thermal comfort.
For several years, we have been evolving our products and manufacturing methods to reduce our environmental impact and improve working conditions for our teams.
To make credible progress, we work hand in hand with our suppliers, partners, and customers, and we undergo external audits and assessments every year to strengthen our continuous improvement approach.

Throughout our operations, we strive to tangibly reduce the environmental footprint of our products while enhancing safety for our customers.
The actions below illustrate some of the initiatives we carry out as part of a continuous improvement mindset.
ECO-DESIGN PLAN
We integrate eco-design from the development phase to limit resource use, reduce waste, and design more efficient products with equivalent performance.
PEP PRODUCT ENVIRONMENTAL PROFILES
We develop Product Environmental Profiles (PEP ecopassport) for our radiators, radiant panel heaters, and towel rails, based on Life Cycle Assessments governed by ISO 14025 and the specific rules PSR-0002.
Published in the INIES database, these documents provide key indicators (energy, resources, end-of-life) and help compare our products within RE2020 and building LCA approaches.
CONSUMER HEALTH AND SAFETY
User health and safety are at the heart of our quality approach. A structured monitoring system enables us to report, analyze, and address issues identified in the field.

COMBATING CHILD LABOR
We are firmly committed to combating any form of child labor and forced labor throughout our supply chain.
We require each of our suppliers and subcontractors to strictly comply with the international and national standards prohibiting such practices.
Our goal is to ensure ethical, safe working conditions that respect the fundamental rights of every individual—wherever we operate.
RAW MATERIAL TRACEABILITY
We ensure that all our raw materials comply with the RoHS Directive and do not contain substances of concern under the REACH Regulation.
Our Group requires suppliers to provide traceability via the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) to prevent sourcing minerals from conflict-affected areas, in line with EU Regulation 2017/821 and OECD guidance.
LOGISTICS RESPONSABILITY
We optimize deliveries by prioritizing direct shipments to job sites and maximizing truck loads to reduce transport-related emissions.
We exclusively use recyclable materials for palletizing, favor cardboard, and reduce plastic use as much as possible.
SUPPLIER SELECTION
We have implemented a structured process to select our suppliers and service providers, assessing each of them against criteria tailored to their category (components, finished products, services, transport, or logistics), with full awareness of social and environmental challenges.

INTERNATIONAL COMMITMENTS AND IMPLEMENTATION
We commit to respecting internationally recognized human rights across all our business activities and throughout our value chain, in line with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO).
COMBATING HARASSMENT AND DISCRIMINATION AND PROMOTING INCLUSION
We take a firm stance against any form of harassment and discrimination.
At our production sites, we work with ESAT partners (French sheltered and adapted work centers) and promote inclusion and professional integration for all, providing a respectful, safe, and open working environment.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
We place the health and safety of our employees at the core of our priorities. We are committed to providing optimal working conditions, ensuring that none of our activities pose risks to our teams or any other stakeholder. Beyond strict regulatory compliance, our goal is to create a safe, healthy, and fulfilling workplace for everyone, protecting employee health over the long term.
WORKING CONDITIONS, WELL-BEING AND SOCIAL DIALOGUE
We support each individual’s professional development and actively welcome young people in training, offering a stimulating environment that fosters success.
Our offices are designed as spacious, bright open-plan workspaces, equipped with all amenities required for employee comfort. Flexible working hours by department and remote work practices have been introduced to enhance quality of life at work and increase flexibility.

INFORMATION SECURITY AND DATA PROTECTION
We ensure that everyone working within the organization is aware of the importance of protecting not only sensitive information related to our activities and know-how, but also each individual’s personal data.
To that end, we implement appropriate security measures to anticipate any risk of leakage or misuse.
Each employee is encouraged to raise concerns or report any situation that does not comply with ethical standards, with the assurance that the process will be handled with discretion and care.
WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION
An ethics officer is available to support and advise each employee.
Our whistleblowing procedure provides enhanced protection for anyone who, in good faith, reports behavior that is inconsistent with our principles.
We commit to reviewing each report thoroughly and impartially, while ensuring effective protection against any form of retaliation towards those who speak up in good faith.
INTEGRITY, BUSINESS PRACTICES AND RISK PREVENTION
We apply a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, fraud, money laundering, extortion, and influence peddling.
The selection of our partners and suppliers is based on strict ethical criteria, full transparency, and the absence of any form of favoritism.
Every transaction is monitored, and any breach may result in disciplinary action and the termination of business relationships.

Our company is part of the Coq Vert Community, a network recognized for its commitment to the ecological transition and supported by Bpifrance, ADEME, and the French Ministry for Ecological Transition.
This membership highlights initiatives already undertaken to limit our environmental impact. As a Coq Vert member, we benefit from practical tools to move forward: for example, the Diag Décarbon’Action program enabled us to carry out our carbon footprint assessment and identify specific levers for action.
This helps us structure our approach and finance high-impact projects, while sharing feedback and best practices with other committed companies.

We decided to carry out our carbon footprint assessment to better understand the environmental impact of our activities. Structured with support from the Diag Décarbon’Action program, this approach enabled us to identify our main emission sources and define an action plan across several time horizons: short, medium, and long term.
Some of the first actions have already been launched, while others are part of a gradual continuous improvement strategy. This diagnosis helps us prioritize and invest in solutions aligned with our business realities.
As an SME, we are not currently required by regulation to perform a carbon footprint assessment. However, we chose to go beyond legal obligations—out of conviction and responsibility—to sustainably reduce our emissions and make a concrete contribution to the fight against climate change.
